Background
MRSA is an infection is a staph infection that is resistant to common
anitbiotics to orginially treat MRSA.There are two types of MRSA , HA-MRSA and CA-MRSA. HA-MRSA is a staph stain that is caught in hospitals, health cares and
nursing homes. HA-MRSA is caused by unecessessary use of antibiotics and unsanitary
conditions and highest among older people.
CA-MRSA is a staph stain that is caught in the communtiy and affects among
healthy, active young people. CA-MRSA is caused by poor hyigene, crowded conditions, doing very physicall
activites, and skin on skin contact. MRSA is the most common skin infection in the United States. Its often called "staph" and sometimes called "superbug". It was first discovered in 1961 and had its first case in the U.S. in 1968. Over decades, MRSA had became a result of unnecessary antibiotic use. A study found that 85% of MRSA is HA-MRSA.
